The third friday in april

We had a blast!!. We had aprox. 12 visitors this evening from our youth group and young adult groups from church, they all said they had a good time,it is just beautifull to see these young people praying with those less fortunate downtown friends of ours.
During the service at the union gospel mission four people dedicated or rededicated their lives to CHRIST, it sure would be nice to have a baptisimal available during these times.
We had the hotdog cart stationed outside the salvation army mission and we also took the buggie out with sandwiches chips and the usual items along the waterfront and under two of our downtown bridges, during these warmer nights we are pretty busy all over the city.
We hope to start going to the migrant farm camps soon with his hands ministries,also to start working with other local churches to do some out reaching more locally in hillsboro cornelius and aloha. Love ya!! K M

The night of april7 2006

Well it was Tom,Seth and Ken tonight, We had a great time the folks downtown know our hot dog cart very well now as we were recognized right away.
We gave away 120 dogs in aprox 2 hours and got to pray with a couple of folks that really needed it.
It is always fun downtown because it is different every time and we meet new people every time.
I just read a write up in the oregonian newspaper on our downtown ministry it was good but quite a bit shorter than I expected,the reporter I was in contact with was a very nice and easy to talk to,I hope to see her down there,as a visitor not a customer ha! ha!.

Our present schedule

Hello,
Because I have been asked so many times as to when we serve I am now posting it here on our Blog ,
1st friday of each month we meet at life church at 6:30pm and depart at6:45 and meet under the burnside bridge at 7:20.
3rd friday of each month we meet at life church at 5:30 and depart at 5:45 and meet
under the burnside bridge at 6:30 for the service at the union gospel mission that begins at 7:00pm.
