November and december outreaches

Well it's been a while,we have gone out three times since our november 4 posting, including Christmas morning.
Christmas morn was a kick,we tried to go as orginized as possible but this was an ever evolving process,adapting to situations as they came along,it was much smoother than last year.
We had 14 volunteers counting my 2 and 4 year old daughters,and they had a good time too.
We brought alot of clothing items,socks, undies, knitted caps,scarves,coats ect... we set up a table with hot strong coffie and doughnuts and asst. paistries. the union gospel mission gave us ton's of stuff to give away nice brand new ll bean blankets,water bottles,higene kits consisting of tooth paste, tooth brushes ,soap ,mouthwash, there was sooooo much stuff I can't even mention.
We saw several folks we know and havent seen in a while,and it is also a blessing to pray with people and believe with them that the one true living GOD will help them thru and out of these valleys in life, as the LORD has a plan for each of our lives (jer 29:11).
I know the most important thing to remember in this christmas season is the gift from GOD that came directly from heaven to each of us, most likely our savior was not born on dec.25th, it is awsome that we do celebrate his birth,even though most of the secular have no concept as to the meaning and results of his birth,life,ministry,death and resurection,it is our prayer that many more will come to know him thru the ministry of his hands his feet ministries,I thank GOD that he is the glue that keeps us motivated,safe,united with him,and spiritually strong to do all that he has called us to do.
