The night of august19th

Yes of course this again was another great night,kind of hit and miss until about 10:30,when we found about 60 people down by the train station,we ran out of everything in about 10 minutes.
The last man I ministered to was a self professed athiest,I asked him if I could pray with him and he said sure it couldent hurt,we prayed that GOD would show himself real to him in a very tangible way,after that he asked for a blanket,and a had to tell him we just ran out and sorry,we went back to our home base under the burnside bridge and found two blanket's that we forgot so eric and seth took him one on their way home,I hope that was tangible enough for him.
I am sooooo blessed to be working alongside some awsome men and women of faith in this downtown ministry,including the youth that now enjoy coming,it is awsome,if anybody else would like to join us drop me an e- mail to gmak@familysafeweb.net we would love to see ya downtown!!!! lotsa love!! K M

The night of august7

It was truly a beautiful night, we were loaded with a bunch of food ,socks,ect...
Right off the bat we got to pray with people and bless em with food and prayer. Our radical street evangelist Seth got to work with a muslem friend they were going at it for at least a half hour, it was very friendly and non confrontational, the muslem friend did not understand how JESUS could be the son of GOD,until Seth told him the Holy Spirit of GOD overshadowed her and made her pregnant,yes GOD made her pregnant so this is how he is the son of GOD and not just some prophet, then the man understood,while all this was going on the rest of were watching a man in a kilt and army boots encourageing his dog to dig after some of portlands rather large rat's right down on the water front the man was real nice we had some good conversation he even laughed when I offered him some nice levi's we had, I went out on a limb with that joke ha! ha!.
We missed Eric that night but all the other regular's were there,Donna,sarah,seth and now jason is coming that's cool.
There was one place that was a bit testing of our faith but it was really not a problem ,you could just feel the evil there,it was sooo thick like walking thru fog, the bondage there was horrible, we actually did good there, we gave out food and alot of spiritual prayer,I mean when you are walking thru darkness on this earth, doing good and being the light,being the hand's and feet of CHRIST oh man!! That's what we are here for!!!!
