The night of october 21 2005

Portland love's our steaming hot hotdog's,they are pretty good too!!.
We have another good route where we can witness to the homeless and the tavern patron's there are three night clubs across the street from our final location at 2nd and burnside it is a kick ,we were visited by a man who played guitar with us and for us,he even took time to give chris blunt a lesson.
We had two men one in his late 40's and the other in his early 50's re dedicate their lives to the LORD,both at the service at the union gospel mission.
The music that night rocked!!! and the teaching got a bit pentecostal too,( whatever that means) it was exciteing!!!,the youth, felicia,chris,andy,nikki and her friend all had a good time,they were a biggggg help in the kitchen and in handing out socks,undies ,food and snacks.
There is such a joy that grows deep within us all in serving the LORD downtown, it is really hard to explain,if you would like to experience this joy with us in serving the one true living GOD then please e-mail me at gmak@familysafeweb.net

The night of October 07 2005

This was a great night,we took the hot dog cart out again, we started along the waterfront,turned around under the steel bridge back to the burnside bridge,and ended up by the salvation army.
We were set up across the street from a couple of busy night clubs and got to talk to many people,many of the people have to wait in line to get into the salvation army mission,so they miss out on getting some food from bridgetown and the union gospel, there were two families staying at the S-A mission with young childeren those kid's sure liked hot dogs.
We got to see an old friend Ken Spottedelk, he seemed to be doing better now.
It was funny we did not know where to set up,we all had our own idea on where to go, then we just said donna blunt!!, would you just pray!!! just after that her phone rang it was joy under the bridge with some of her friends so we now knew where to go!!.
And we just knew we were on the right track praise GOD!!!.
This just shows how dependant on the one true living GOD we are,and without the HOLY SPIRIT we could do nothing,truely our desire is to be in GOD'S will.
