The cold,cold night of feb.17 2006

Well hello again we had another great service at the mission,we had several visitors aprox. 10 from portland metro church,they sang and one lady gave an awsome testimony on GODS grace,forgiviness,and desire to restore families,it really touched alot of hearts.
Our youth and young adult groups came also about 14 in all,their enthusiasm is exciting to see.I love to see these young people getting involved in this ministry because they are recieved so well by the undomiciled of downtown portland.
It was very cold this night we wanted to be sure the folks that won't go to the mission are taken care of,the few people we met we bombarded them with food,socks,jackets,hand warmers,water and pastries and of course prayer.

Life change graduation Feb.12 2006

Hello everybody,
Seth and I attended the life change graduation,life change is a program of the union gospel mission that really help's out folk's who are going thru some rough times and want to change their lives for the better.
We have become good friends with these graduates there was six this year Sandy,Russel,Darren,John,mike,Dave,these people have really impressed me with there honesty,love for their fellow man,self respect,bible knowledge sence of humor, we all truly hope to continue our friendship with these great and awsome fellow joint heir's with CHRIST to the kingdom of GOD.
There was not a dry eye in the place when they showed their pictures from day one in life change to graduation day,seeing the families totally moved me,seeing families that have been destroyed now restored is beautiful!!!.
GOD is awsome,slow to wrath and full of grace,I kept thinking of 1st john ch.4 God is love!!!!,"WOW" This was a time I will never forget.
