Friday Night 1-19-07

Well we finally got some music, my next task is to keep them coming once a month, I don't mind teaching for 45 min. but music can touch the human heart at times where words can't.
We had a guest speaker Mr. Jarred Carkin, An awsome young man that loves JESUS with all his heart.
It is interesting how GOD always comes thru for us when we really trust (have faith) in him, I started the night by asking our undomiciled friends what services we could provide that will help people the most, what there needs are, for the most part it was great conversation, we really touched on alot of issues, we want to be as effective as we can when we go down on Friday nights, and then as GOD wanted Mr. Jarred spoke about our needs as human beings needing food, clothes and more importantly we need JESUS, we did not collaborate on subject matter prior to the Friday meeting, it was totally GOD speaking thru us on the same subject, Thank you JESUS!!.
Also that evening we were short on people to serve in the kitchen, I did not really plan on using the worship team to do this, As myself and the evening chapel director Terry were talking, two nice ladies came just to work in the kitchen and also to serve, totally an answer to our immediate need , that was great!! God is always faithful!!!!!.
Speaking on GOD"S faithfulness to his disciples(us) there is a verse found in 1 Corinthians 10:13
It says: No temptation has came on you that is not common to man, GOD is faithfull, he will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can stand, But when you are tempted, he will provide you a way out, so that you will be able to stand up under it.
That is a powerful promise right straight from GOD to you and me!! how awsome it is, believe me , I have that one memorized!!!!.
